Highly selective harvesting in the Alphart vineyards
We managed to bring in our harvest just before the extensive precipitation we saw in mid-October. The selective manual harvesting method used by our experienced team ensures that only the very best grapes are subsequently processed.
This year, the grapes had ripened by mid-September following a period of already colder nights. This promotes an intensively fruity character and we can’t wait to see what the end results will be like. Fermentation is already in the final stages and the characteristics of the young wines are already becoming apparent – soon the first forerunners of the 2020 vintage will be ready to try!
Our winery has had the “Sustainable Austria” seal of quality since March of this year. Since resource conservation and sustainability are high priorities for us, we have undergone subjected to this certification.
