We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your data will be processed exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, Telecommunications Act 2003). This data protection information is designed to advise you of the most important aspects of data processing in the context of use of our website.
If you contact us using our ‘schreib uns doch’ (‘write to us’) form or by email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry and will be stored by us for six months in order to process any follow-up queries you may have. We will not release this data to third parties without your prior authorisation.
As we have a legitimate interest in the analysis of customer data, we use Google Analytics. This is a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The information generated by cookies will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google holds certification under the Privacy Shield Framework whereby Google is required to observe European data protection laws. For more information, go to: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active. Google uses the transmitted information on our behalf for analysis purposes. They employ this to compile reports on activity on our website. Activated IP anonymisation (abbreviation of your IP address) is used for the purposes of the use of Google Analytics. Only in exceptional circumstances will Google itself abbreviate your IP address. The IP address transferred by your browser will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation message by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then delete your data with effect for the future in connection with transmission of our newsletter.
In principle you have the right to be informed, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten), the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw data protection consent. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection laws or that your rights with regard to data protection have been infringed in any other way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the ‘Datenschutzbehörde’ in Vienna; you can contact them at https://www.dsb.gv.at/kontakt.
Please send your query in writing or by email together with proof of ID to the following address: email@example.com
We will process your enquiry in accordance with the legal provisions.
Our website uses SSL encryption in order to ensure security and protect the transmission of confidential data, such as queries that you send to us as website operator. You can recognise that a connection is encrypted by means of the fact that the prefix of the address line changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and the padlock symbol appears in your browser address bar. When SSL encryption is activated, any data you send us cannot be read by third parties.
