General

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your data will be processed exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, Telecommunications Act 2003). This data protection information is designed to advise you of the most important aspects of data processing in the context of use of our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us using our ‘schreib uns doch’ (‘write to us’) form or by email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry and will be stored by us for six months in order to process any follow-up queries you may have. We will not release this data to third parties without your prior authorisation.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files placed on your end device by means of the browser. They will not cause any damage. We use only technically necessary cookies (cannot be disabled). There are certain necessary cookies that are required to enable the basic operation of the website. These are exclusively cookies that are needed to make sure of the basic functioning of the website and for security purposes. No personal information is stored in these cookies. They include so-called session cookies that are automatically generated and improve the security of communication between server and client and the cookie settings in which the required cookie operations are stored. There are also functional cookies that you can disable using your web browser. But they can be required to control certain options, such as the access to protected pages (log-in handling) and the correct functioning of the webshop.

hCaptcha

To protect the contact forms from unwanted, automated messages, we use the hCaptcha service from Intuition Machines, Inc., San Francisco, USA. In accordance with the principle of data economy, only the data that is really necessary for the captchas to detect bots is collected. It is used on the basis of our legitimate interests in avoiding misuse and spam within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The hCaptcha privacy policy can be found at https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter through our website. For this purpose, we will need your email address and your consent to receive our newsletter. When you subscribe, we will send you a confirmation email with a link so that you can consent to receive the newsletter.

You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation message by email to: weingut@alphart.com. We will then delete your data with effect for the future in connection with transmission of our newsletter.

Your rights

In principle you have the right to be informed, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten), the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw data protection consent. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection laws or that your rights with regard to data protection have been infringed in any other way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the ‘Datenschutzbehörde’ in Vienna; you can contact them at https://www.dsb.gv.at/kontakt.

Responses to queries concerning data privacy

Please send your query in writing or by email together with proof of ID to the following address: weingut@alphart.com

We will process your enquiry in accordance with the legal provisions.

SSSL encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption in order to ensure security and protect the transmission of confidential data, such as queries that you send to us as website operator. You can recognise that a connection is encrypted by means of the fact that the prefix of the address line changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and the padlock symbol appears in your browser address bar. When SSL encryption is activated, any data you send us cannot be read by third parties.
